Well, what would it be like, if we had the same perception of what is happening around us right now? One Day, we might wake up in a different reality, and we would understand that what we are living right now was just a dream? Even if for us it was the only reality we had been aware of. Wouldn't all the negative things, that are happening, be less important then? Or not important at all?
After all, this is the only reality we are aware of, and there are no hints of the existence of a different reality as you suggest. What is the point in hypothesizing about something we have absolute no evidence exist? If someone you care about were struck by lightning tomorrow would you suffer less if you could find the reason what that had happend?
,,An old man is always preparat for everything. You'll see when you get old. At my age God tells you things which your ears were not prepared to listen before." and he winked at me like a wise child who didn't want to betray the secret his best friend had asked him not to. ,,When I was your age, I just believed in rationality and facts, too. I thought I was the only one in charge on my own life, but I never actually have been, at least not completely. We can only choose the moves we make, not their final result. And sometimes you don't make any move at all, but still get the best thing you could have only imagined before.
Have you done anything interesting since we last met?
Not really. I've done a lot of things, but I don't think any of them and notable. Just routine.
You'll probably laugh, but most of my life I've felt the same as you, that my life is just routine. However, most of the people I've met have found my life story to be exciting.
You're probably right, Joseph. We sometimes miss seeing how unique our lovește are; or at least, interesting. Everyone has a different story to tell.
A book gives you at least the possibility to reason. Reading, at least, appeals to one of the superior functions in the brain. I would say that every time a book has led to conflicts between people, it was because of the misinterpretstion of its content. It wasn't the content itself, but the fact that someone spread false ideas to those who haven't actually read the book, but just heard an interpretation; as always, people's ignorance of a certain subject.
Things are sometimes a lot more subtle than that. Sometimes it's only about not giving a fair chance to everyone to fulfil their own destiny.
[...] there is no chance of succeeding when it comes to doing the right thing?
What I'm trying to say is that a voice can't be heard when a lot of noise is buzzing around.
